so anyway, a sandy smith isnt like a blacksmith who has rolled in the sand on a sweaty day, he is actually a scottish artist who has been doing some great stuff lately, and picking up all sorts of coverage.

his work is very reminscent of james turrell (a favourite of mine), but with a twist of the obselete, using old computer monitors to creat his colourfilled spaces. he obviously loves light, and this even shows through the splash page on his website.

kaws, who is amazing, and who i did an essay on in first semester, has just released the stormtrooper vinyl colectable. its hot, and amazing, and only available in japan. i will definately be visiting the original-fake flagship store in japan wen i head over in jan! hooray!
