now onto some screen printery action. i finally got the first pull of my skeleton, for the series – this poster sucks.
i am very happy with how it turned out. the pics of glow are about 10 seconds. you can see it easily in the dark after it charges during the day, but who knew photographing glow ink would be so hard!!!

William Castleman has created this amazing timelapse of the Milky Way rising in Texas. Using his Canon 5D with a 15mm fisheye lense, then putting a whole bunch of 20 sec exposures together, he has created one of the most beautiful videos of our home galaxy i have ever seen!
ok, so the blog has come to a stand still while i have been sick. and there are still profiles to come from semipermanent. but i will only be posting the ones that pertain to me and my art making practice from now on.
but, here is some new work from me. i thought i would share some of my recent art with you all. while you can see a few things in the sidebar to the right, here is the latest offering. a poster design, hasnt been printed yet, but it will be glow in the dark.

sorry for the delay in posts. i have been sick all week and am finally getting better! yay! more of these all week!
I can honestly say I have never been a big fan of video work, but Danny Yount put on an amazingly professional, clean presentation that really conveyed his love for the work he does. He has an impressive show reel, and worked on some of the biggest film releases over the last year or so, like Iron Man and Rock ‘n’ Rolla.

What I liked about Yount’s presentation was the way he kept it fun. Showing random little snippets from the internet, or his analogy of filming a squirrel, and how he will never do it again.
Out of Yount’s work, I am most impressed by his motion typography, from the way the type in the Six Feet Under behaves like ash when the crow flies past it, to the amazing graphic style used in the Rock ‘n’ Rolla opening sequence.
Be sure to go to his personal site to check out the projects he has worked on.
